my tribute piece to my parents

 

I wanted a nostalgic feel so I added an oil paint filter to the images, giving them some texture. I also added background images that have meaning to my family (such as grass, dandelions, and roses). The images I chose are specific to love being shown in my family. I chose to add a rose-colored tint to all the images, working off of the glow of the neon sign, which reads "Eshgh" or "Love" in Farsi. I added some picture frames that have been in our family for a while because they remind me of my family when I see them as I have them hung in my current home.

My family means the world to me so I wanted to create this piece showing the love that we have for each other.
